As a copywriter at Trustly, your mission will be to produce both digital and printed material that delivers a clear message and a consistent brand experience. You’ll support and execute on the marketing and communication strategy through existing guidelines, while ensuring all written communication follows the style guide and our tone of voice. You’ll also need to get a thorough understanding of Trustly’s business, its opportunities and challenges, to ensure we drive conversations that align with the company strategy.
On an average day, you will write, edit, and proofread materials — mostly short-form, but occasionally long-form. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders from various teams to produce clear, consistent and concise material including web texts, print ads, sales flyers, product demos, newsletters, presentations and social media posts. You’ll also own the relationship with our translation agency to make sure our content is properly localized for various markets. You will report to the Project Marketing Manager and work closely with our three graphic designers, as you can’t have great copy without great design.
Who you are

● You’re a highly communicative and a results-driven team player
● You’re passionate about writing, and find it fun to distill complicated topics into engaging and digestible copy
● You have an eagle eye for detail and you probably even sleep with a style guide under your pillow
● You thrive under pressure and are skilled at prioritizing projects
● You have proven experience as a copywriter or a content producer, ideally from an agency or in the fintech field
● As you’ll write all copy in English, you are most likely a native English speaker; bonus points if you speak other languages too!
About the Marketing team
The Marketing team is a creative group of 18 people and together we work to make Trustly a trusted and treasured brand in the payments industry. We plan and attend industry events, design sales collateral, collaborate with partners to launch campaign and more, always with measurable KPIs in mind. We have lots of fun outside the office as well, whether we´re mastering the art of making dumplings or paddelboarding in the archipelago. Doesn’t it sound awesome!?
